Years ago, my mom shared a memory with me that when she was growing up, her father (and my dear Grandpa) Julius would comment when he noticed someone that had a special way about them, when everything they touched seemed to turn to gold. He would say to her that that person had Goldene Hendt--Golden Hands. Then she told me that I had "Goldene Hendt", which touched me deeply. This was further confirmed a few years later when I gave a massage to a very special woman visiting the states from Argentina. Even though she spoke very little English, it was clear to me that she loved her massage session. Her exact words were: "Tu tienes manos de oro" (Hands of Gold). When I heard her say this, I got goosebumps. She confirmed the natural gift of touch and the tactile sensitivity I was born with, and I owned it and the name Golden Hands Massage Therapy was born!
Golden Hands Massage Therapy is one of the more experienced massage therapy services in Boston (South End, Boston). I am a natural intuitive with highly sensitive, aware hands. I draw from 24 years of training and experience in massage therapy, bodywork, and healing work. I am versed in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, On-site Chair Massage, Energy Healing and Breathwork. My clients tell me that my sessions are restorative, relaxing, powerful, soothing, and extremely nurturing. I offer individual massage therapy sessions, massage housecalls, massage instructional sessions and self-massage technique sessions, couples massage housecalls, chair massage at your home or office, and guided relaxation CD's. My work is unique because I listen to my clients and work collaboratively with each one to respond to their needs rather than doing a "formula" massage or whatever I alone may think is best. I take great pride in providing the best massage I can, and I am inspired by the way massage and healing touch benefits people and animals. I have been dedicating myself to massage and bodywork for 24 years, based upon my belief in the healing power of touch and in caring for people. Touch is a powerful medium for healing, relaxation, and comfort in the times that we are living in...and for all times. I also believe that, whether we are born with it or or not, touch is an instrument and ability that we all can cultivate.
